The Hope4Sudan organization was birthed in 2007 following a missions trip to the country with a small team. Founder Lauren Pickens was moved with compassion and went home with a burden to help meet the needs of the people in and around southern Sudan. She stepped out in faith. That bold step has continued to grow and expand into a multi-faceted ministry that now reaches into Kenya where pockets of South Sudanese students go to continue their education.
