Orality method

In Sudan and South Sudan, there are 142 people groups* who are as yet unreached with the Gospel. Most of these people groups are composed of oral learners who are either illiterate or who simply learn best by oral, rather than literate means. Because of this, Hope4Sudan has adopted an evangelism strategy which shares God’s Word using the tools of an oral culture - storytelling, song, dance, chant, drama, etc. Hope4Sudan missionaries work with national believers to develop Chronological Bible Story Sets, spanning both the Old and New Testaments and focusing on specific themes such as redemption. The “oral Bible” that is formed can be passed down for generations to come and is easily spread in local communities and outlying villages.
